ABOUT CODY JAMISON STRAND

Rose to fame for his lead role as Elder Cunningham in the Tony-award winning musical Book of Mormon.

He obtained a degree in acting from the University of South Dakota.

His first professional performance was as a Muleteer in Man of La Mancha.

He was born in a small town next to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He grew up in a religious family with a father who was a pastor.

He and Ben Platt have both played the role of Elder Cunningham in Book of Mormon.
