ABOUT CRAIG STRICKLAND
Lead vocalist of the six-piece country group Backroad Anthem that had released a debut album titled Torn in September of 2015.
He and Backroad Anthem came together to become a band in 2012.
He passed away from hypothermia after he and his friend Chase Morland went out on a boat hunting ducks. The boat capsized, Morland drowned, and Strickland swam to shore, but could not escape the severe cold.
He married former Miss Arkansas Helen Strickland in 2014.
He and Backroad Anthem had previously opened for Dustin Lynch .
