ABOUT DAðI FREYR
Pop music performer and artist who is recognized for having represented his native Iceland in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest . During the competition, he performed his single "10 Years." He was set to perform at the event the year prior, but it was cancelled due to COVID-19.
As a child, he practiced drums and studied piano and bass guitar. He also co-founded a band known as RetRoBot.
In 2021, his extended play Welcome reached the number 21 position on Iceland's popular albums chart.
He and his wife Árný Fjóla Ásmundsdóttir have a daughter.
His TikTok channel features clips of him covering music by the group Little Big .
