ABOUT DALAL AL-BAROUD

Writer and presenter who rose to fame hosting various literary television programs in Kuwait. She has since become popular on Instagram, earning more than 30,000 followers.

After earning her bachelor's degree in Arabic literature, she worked for several years as an Arabic language teacher for a public middle school. She later earned a master's in comparative literature and went on to pursue her PhD.

She has her own blog where she writes about her literary studies. She began writing for the blog in October 2016.

She has a brother, Fahad Saleh Al-Baroud, and a sister, Max Al-Baroud.

Both she and Fazza are well-known Arabic poets.
