British pop singer who began his rise to fame on the 2012 season of The X Factor (UK) . Two years later, he released the singles "Never Go Back" and "You and Me" on iTunes.

In early 2011, he began uploading music covers to his newly formed YouTube channel.

To support his music career, he worked at a nightclub in Uxbridge, West London.

He spent the first three years of his life in London and the remainder of his childhood in Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire.

James Arthur ultimately won the season of The X Factor in which Ali competed on.
