Singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the post-hardcore band Alexisonfire. His first solo album became Platinum-certified in 2006.

He was named after his father who lost a bet during the 1980 World Series. Green's first band was Helicon Blue.

He has released music using the alias City and Colour.

He married Leah Miller on December 31, 2008.

His band went on tour with Norma Jean, a band named after Marilyn Monroe .
