ABOUT DAMIAN RIVERA

Men's midfielder that first signed his professional club contract with the New England Revolution of the United States MLS. After a few years with the New England Revolution second team, he then joined their top team during the 2022 MLS club season.

He initially joined the New England Revolution as a member of their youth program. He was just 14 years old when he joined the club.

He scored his first official MLS goal during his debut match against Inter Miami CF on April 30, 2022. He scored his first goal within the first minutes of the match, becoming just the third person in MLS history to achieve this feat as a rookie.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Cranston, Rhode Island. He is of Guatemalan and Costa Rican descent.

He played alongside Omar Gonzalez as a member of the New England Revolution during the 2023 MLS season.
