ABOUT DANIEL CARVALHO

Famous as an attacking midfielder for Brazil's Botafogo football club, he also played for the Criciuma Esporte Clube, CSKA Moscow, and Brazil's Internacional team.

Early in his career, he participated in the 2003 FIFA Under-20 World Cup and went on to play for Brazil's Under-23 team.

During his six-season career with CSKA Moscow, he scored a total of eighteen goals.

He was born and raised in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

He is a contemporary of fellow Brazilian soccer player Hernanes .
