Actor most known for the role of Luke on Netflix's Lovesick . He has also appeared in The Crown , Sex Education , and Black Mirror . He has appeared in over 70 episodes of television throughout his ongoing career.

He studied theater at Lancaster University, graduating in 2008. He later trained at the National Youth Theatre.

He once played Howl in a stage production of Howl's Moving Castle . He received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series" in The Crown.

He is married with two children.

He has acted alongside Billie Piper and Alan Cumming , playing their husband in each role.
