Famous for his portrayal of bully Harvey "Harley" Keiner in the 1990s television series Boy Meets World , he played an older version of the same character in the 2014 series Girl Meets World .

He made his television debut in a 1993 episode of the crime drama Street Justice.

He wrote, produced, and acted in a short film titled Live4 2Day.

A native of Springfield, Illinois, he later lived and worked in New York and California.

Ben Savage 's Boy Meets World character, Cory Matthews, was the Season 2 target of McNulty's character's bullying.
