ABOUT DANNY PERKINS

Co-host of the HGTV series Renovate to Rent. A contractor, he joins friend and partner Drew Levin in buying and renovating foreclosed houses to rent out for top dollar.

He met Drew Levin while both were freshman at the University of Florida. By 2004, they'd started their first business, Yfly.com.

Friends for more than a decade, he and Drew Levin first became known for co-founding the sandwich chain Turkey to Go.

Originally from Boca Raton, Florida, he later settled in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Like Joanna Gaines , he is a home improvement host on HGTV.
