ABOUT DAREL RUSSELL

English midfielder who played most of his career in England before signing a contract with Toronto FC in the MLS in 2013.

He began his professional career with Norwich City in the English Premier League in 1997.

He won League One Championships with Norwich City in 2010 and with Charlton Athletic in 2012.

His sister Shar Alexander was a competitor in the sixth series of the X Factor.

He and Bright Dike both joined Toronto FC in 2013.
