ABOUT DAVE HOLLIS
Former Disney film distribution chief who left the company after 17 years to become CEO of his wife Rachel's firm Chic Media. His leadership helped relaunch the Star Wars franchise and guided the release of global hits like Frozen and Beauty and the Beast .
He studied organizational communication at Pepperdine University .
He's part of the membership committee of the Motion Picture Academy. He hosted his own podcast before passing away in February of 2023.
After joining his wife Rachel at Chic, the two relocated from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas. He was the father of 4 children and was a foster parent.
His management led to the success of the film Black Panther which starred Chadwick Boseman .
