Television and film actor who is predominantly recognized for his performance as Gunnery Sgt. Ray 'Casey Kasem' Griego on the HBO series Generation Kill . He also made appearances on Grimm and Heroes . In 2022, he played Chief Arreola in the popular Netflix series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story .

He made his professional acting debut in the 1995 feature film Now Way Back.

He enjoyed a six episode arc on the series NYPD Blue in the late 1990s. He guest-starred on a 2003 episode of Nip/Tuck . He also guest-starred on an episode of Veronica Mars .

He and his wife Maria Canals Barrera have two daughters.

He starred alongside Alexander Skarsgård on Generation Kill.
