Film actor known for his character work. One of his most prolific performances was as Timmy Clayton in the 2007 feature film Michael Clayton . He also portrayed Micheal in the film Scent of a Woman .

He made his professional acting debut in 1988 on the TV series The Play on One.

Outside of film he has made appearances on Law & Order: Criminal Intent , Sex and the City , and Murder She Wrote .

He married Kristina Mikkelsen Lansbury in 2013. He has two children.

He was cast alongside George Clooney in Michael Clayton.
