ABOUT DAVID RODRíGUEZ SáNCHEZ

Known best for his association with Spain's AD Alcorcon Football Club, this soccer forward also played for the Celta de Vigo, UD Salamanca, and Atletico Madrid B clubs.

After attending the youth soccer training program at Atletico Madrid, he began his career with the Segunda Division's Ciudad de Murcia team.

Between 2001 and 2005, he played for Spain's Under-16, 17, 18, and 19 national teams.

He and his brother and fellow soccer player, Sergio Sanchez, grew up in Talavera de la Reina, Toledo Province, Spain.

He and fellow forward Raul Gonzalez both began their soccer careers with Atletico Madrid.
