ABOUT DAVID F SANDBERG

Swedish filmmaker. He has directed multiple short and long-form projects, including " Lights Out ", " Shazam! ", and " Shazam! Fury of the Gods ". He posts short films that he makes with his wife to his YouTube channel ponysmasher, which has amassed more than 390,000 subscribers.

He got his first job in the film industry by working as an intern at a local film center called Film i Jönköping when he was a teenager. He began finding success in 2006 with his short animated films that he posted online.

He has directed over a dozen short films. His 2013 short film "Lights Out" was adapted into a feature-length horror movie in 2016.

He married actress Lotta Losten in 2013.

Actor Asher Angel starred in the film "Shazam!" that he directed.
