Davin Meggett

ABOUT DAVIN MEGGETT

Powerful up-the-middle running back well-known for his time at the University of Maryland.

He played for Surrattsville High School, where he was first-team all-league and first-team all-county as a senior.

In 2012 - his first year after college - he spent time on the practice squads of the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts.

His father, Dave Meggett, was a Super Bowl-winning Pro Bowl running back.

He signed with the Texans in 2012, but could not find a roster spot in a backfield that starred Arian Foster , so he was sent to the practice squad.
