Canadian actor who is most famous for his recurring roles on series like Tour of Duty, Night Heat, and One Life to Live. He is also known for his work behind the camera, having written, directed, and produced such films as Blonde and Blonder (2007).

He majored in accounting at Michigan State University before attending the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.

He is the CEO of the independent film company Sherwood Media.

He married Tania Mehra from the reality show Second Wives Club. He has a son named Zachary.

He directed and acted with Corbin Bernsen in the adventure film Savage Land (1994).
