She became the owner of Debra Macki Makeup Artists & Cosmetics in January of 1995.

She worked as the key makeup artist for a 2011 movie called Adventures of Serial Buddies.

She married Derek Palermo.

Her client list has included Rihanna , Cyndi Lauper , Kesha and numerous other musicians, actors and models.
