Actress and singer whose extensive list of acting credits include leading roles in the Disney+ series The Crossover, as well as the Netflix original holiday rom-com Christmas With You . She also released the musical album Fighter in April 2023. She currently has 7,000 followers on her dejamoniquecruz Instagram account, where she posts behind the scenes shots and promotions for her on-screen appearances.

While attending high school, she performed in many stage productions, including Macbeth and Waiting for Godot. Her first television credit was in the role of Lupe on a 2019 episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit .

She received two Scare Fest Horror Convention Awards nominations in 2021 for appearing in the film Manifest Evil.

She is the daughter of Kendra and Damion Cruz. She also has a brother.

She appeared alongside Freddie Prinze Jr. and Aimee Garcia in the film Christmas With You .
