ABOUT DEMET GUL
Rocketed to fame in 2011 playing young Fatma in Almanya: Welcome to Germany. She would go on to star in the television series Ask Laftan Anlamaz and earn roles in the films Küçük Esnaf and Müthis Bir Film.
She studied theatre at the Otto Falckenberg School of the Performing Arts and would spend her early years performing with the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding and the Bavarian State Opera.
She wrote, produced, and starred in a segment of the 2014 film A Quintet.
Her parents were Turkish immigrants. She grew up with them in Stuttgart, Germany before eventually settling in Istanbul, Turkey.
In the romantic comedy Ask Laftan Anlamaz, she joined a cast that included Hande Ercel and Burak Deniz .
