ABOUT DEMIR DEMIRKAN
Turkish musician and songwriter who became known playing guitar in the thrash metal band Mezarkabul. He has also written jingles for TV and soundtracks for films.
He began playing guitar when he was thirteen and moved to Los Angeles in 1992 to study at the Musician's Institute.
The song "Every Way That I Can," which he wrote for Sertab Erener , won first prize in the 2003 Eurovision Song Competition.
He was born and raised in Adana, Turkey.
He worked with producer Jay Newland, who also produced for Norah Jones .
