ABOUT DEREK DEMEO

American entrepreneur and businessman who founded the technology company Magic Digital Media Inc as well as the company VA Relief. He was also CEO of consumer materials company EnerPlex, and has served as CEO for seven other technology and e-commerce companies throughout his career.

He attended SUNY Oneonta, in New York, but left after one year and transferred to Saint Bonaventure University.

His first job was at McDonald's when he was fifteen. He learned about business under fellow entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk . He started his own company in 2016 before selling it a few years later for a high figure.

He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.

When he was in his twenties, he played hockey with Airbnb founder Brian Chesky .
