TV actor who had a comeback in director Raj Chakraborty's action-romance Challenge in 2009. He won Anandalok Award for Best Action Hero at the Anandalok Awards for the film. He has more than 1.6 million followers on his imdevadhikari Instagram account.

He took his first acting course at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Academy.

His film debut was in 2005's Agnishapath. He acted opposite Rachana Banerjee.

His father was a caterer and his mother was a housewife.

He replaced Mithun Chakraborty on Dance Bangla Dance.
