ABOUT DIXON ARROYO

Veteran defensive midfielder that has primarily played in the country of Ecuador during his professional career. After a decade in Ecuador, he signed a multi-year deal with Inter Miami CF in April of 2023. He has also played for the Ecuadorian men's national team during his professional career.

He initially began playing soccer as a kid in the Rocafuerte F.C. youth ranks. He would eventually go on to sign his first professional club contract with Chacarita as a teenager in the year 2010.

Despite being a member of the Ecuadorian men's national team for multiple seasons, he was only given the chance to play in two international matches. His very first match was against Bolivia on March 29, 2021.

He is a native of Guayaquil, Ecuador.

He has played with Enner Valencia as a member of Team Ecuador during his professional career.
