ABOUT DR TUMI
Gospel artist, composer, entertainer, musician, YouTube star, online content creator, social media personality, songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist who was part of an award-winning group called Intense. His debut solo album was titled Heart of a King. It won Best R&B Gospel Award at the SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards in the year 2012.
He began performing as a singer, songwriter and pianist while attending church and Sunday school
He became a doctor after studying medicine at The Medical University of South Africa, though he would later decide to transition to music full-time. He has earned more than 310,000 subscribers on his Dr Tumi YouTube channel.
He and his wife have sons named Onalerona, Bokamoso, and Khumoetlile. His father was a priest, while his mother was a teacher.
In 2017, he was the second South African artist to perform at Randburg's Ticketpro Dome, after Cassper Nyovest .
