American country singer who has been a member of The Oak Ridge Boys and was inducted into the Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Their song "Elvira" has garnered over 40 million streams on Spotify.

He trained in formal operatic and quartet singing.

He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1966 and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. The Oak Ridge Boys released more than 60 albums throughout their prolific career.

He married Norah Lee Allen and he has a daughter, Jamie, and a son, Dee.

He has been a member of the Oak Ridge Boys with Joe Bonsall .
