ABOUT ED GALE
Film, television, and commercial actor well known for portraying Howard in Howard the Duck and Chucky in the Child's Play horror comedy franchise. He also played the baby dinosaur Tasha in ABC's The New Land of the Lost and The Mole in The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Howard the Duck was his first audition.
He played Birdie the Early Bird in the McDonald's commercial that saw Birdie actually take flight. He amassed over 50 acting credits before his passing in 2025.
He moved to California after his high school graduation. His niece paid tribute to him on the internet after he died.
He and Timothy Bottoms both starred in Land of the Lost.
