When he was young, he formed a skiffle band called the The Fabulous 5 with his younger brothers.
In addition to music, he was also an actor on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager.
He was born in New Delhi, India, but his family relocated to England after his father's death.
He was inspired to learn the guitar by Bill Haley .
