ABOUT EDSON STROLL
Remembered for his role as Virgil Edwards on the 1960s situation comedy McHale's Navy, he also appeared in two popular Three Stooges films: The Three Stooges in Orbit and Snow White and the Three Stooges.
Before beginning his screen acting career, he served in the United States Navy and went on to become a bodybuilder and New York theater actor. His early television credits include small roles in episodes of The Twilight Zone and Sea Hunt.
During the early 2000s, he worked as a voiceover artist.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, he died in Marina del Rey, California, at the age of eighty-two.
In the 1961 comedy Snow White and the Three Stooges, he and Carol Heiss played the roles of Prince Charming and Snow White.
