Edwin G. Booz

ABOUT EDWIN G. BOOZ

Founded the firm that would become Booz Allen Hamilton.

He had to work throughout his schooling by tutoring and bookkeeping so he could finance his education.

He started out consulting for national firms like Canadian Pacific Railway and Goodyear Tire & Rubber.

He grew up poor, one of seven sons, working odd jobs to make ends meet in Reading, Pennsylvania.

He was a member of the selective Alpha Delta Phi fraternity that also counted Franklin D. Roosevelt among its members.
