ABOUT EDWIN CORLE
A writer of Native American-themed fiction and nonfiction, he is known for works such as Fig Tree John (1955) and Mojave: A Book Of Stories (1934). His manuscripts were collected by both the Indiana University and University of California-Los Angeles libraries.
He studied at the University of California-Berkeley and Yale University.
He had a brief career as a writer for radio programs.
He was born in Wildwood, New Jersey. He married Jean Armstrong in 1944.
He wrote a book about composer Igor Stravinsky .
