ABOUT ELIZABETH NORMENT

Most famous for playing Nancy Kaufberger on the Netflix original series House of Cards, Norment also appeared in episodes of L.A. Law, Mad About You, Blue Bloods, and numerous other popular television series.

After studying at Yale University, she began a professional stage acting career.

She played small roles in the 1997 movies Murder in Mind and Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.

A native of Washington, D.C., she passed away in New York City in her early sixties and was survived by her mother and several siblings.

In the two years leading up to her death from cancer, she was playing Kevin Spacey 's character's secretary on House of Cards.
