At Tulane University , she initially majored in pre-med, though she later switched to business. She worked at Romney Studios fitness center as a student.

She minored in French and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority while in college. One of her most popular TikToks features her undoing her braids. It has gained over 21 million views.

She grew up in Sierra Leone, Senegal before moving to Maryland in the United States.
