Emerson Palmieri

ABOUT EMERSON PALMIERI

Also simply known as Emerson, he is a left back who joined AS Roma in 2015 after beginning his senior career with Santos and Palermo (loan).

He was brought up through the youth system of Santos.

He was called up to play for the Italy national football team after previously playing for the Brazil national under-17 team. He was crowned a champion at the 2011 South American Under-17 Football Championship with the latter squad.

He became an Italian citizen in March of 2017 and has Italian ancestry on his mom's side. His brother Giovannni also played left back in football.

He became a teammate of Lucas Digne when he joined Roma.
