The founder of Makelight, she built an audience creating the blog of the same name and teaching workshops to help creators get the most out of their photographs. Makelight is primarily focused on helping bloggers create beautiful and cohesive Instagram brands.

Before launching Makelight, she ran a successful wedding and portrait photography business.

Her flower-filled Instagram account, emilyquinton, has earned her more than 60,000 followers.

She co-founded Makelight with her husband Stef. They have four children who appear on the Instagram account thequinskis.

Like Denmark's Ida Laerke , she gained fame on Instagram showcasing floral photography.
