Dream rock musician who is known for her 2013 album releases, Mechanical Hands and Night & Day. The first, Mechanical Hands, was released in May 2013. The second, Night & Day, was released in December 2013.
She performed stand-up comedy. She released her debut album, Director's Notes, to iTunes in February 2012.
In 2014, she was named one of NPR's Top 5 Artists to Watch. In October 2014, she released her third EP, Roulette, to iTunes.
She was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, later relocating to Austin, Texas.
She has served as the opening act for Allen Stone and Robert Ellis .
