ABOUT EMMA HEALEY
For her debut work Elizabeth Is Missing (2014), she won both the Costa First Novel Award and the Betty Trask Award.
Before beginning her literary career, she worked at several art galleries, bookstores, and libraries.
After completing her bachelor's degree in bookbinding from the London College of Communication, she received a master's degree in creative writing from the University of East Anglia.
She was born and raised in London, England.
She and fellow English writer Marcus Sedgwick are both known for their mystery novels.
