ABOUT EMMA-LEE

Singer, songwriter, and photographer with an acclaimed debut album titled Never Just a Dream, released in 2008. In addition to landing a record deal and management, her sudden rise gave way to opportunities such as the iTunes song of the week, a national television performance on CBC News Sunday, and an Independent Music Award. She co-wrote Alee's single "Only the Strong Survive," which reached #32 on the Canadian Country Charts. In 2012, she released Backseat Heroine, which won in the Best Adult Contemporary category at the Independent Music Awards.

She worked a number of jobs including being a receptionist, bartender, waitress, movie extra, and telemarketer while trying to establish her music and photography careers.

She created an alter ego publicist, Dale Cole, to launch the press campaign for her first independent album Never Just A Dream. She has also recorded jingles for a number of Canadian brands including Tim Horton's, Telus, and Winners.

She was born in Toronto, Ontario. She introduced her pet cat Chucky on her Instagram page in August 2023.

She sings two songs on Jesse Cook 's Blue Guitar Sessions and toured with him in Canada in 2013.
