Opera singer known for being a principal artist with Opera Australia. She is one of the country's most highly-acclaimed and awarded soprano performers.

She was born in England. She grew up in Fiji and Vanuatu before moving to Australia.

She studied musical theatre at the Western Australian Conservatorium of Music.

She is married to Stephen Matthews, a theatrical technician. They have two sons named Jack and Brendan.

Her voice has drawn comparisons to that of Joan Sutherland .
