ABOUT EMPTY STREETS
Stage name for the multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Aaron Thompson, who initially rose to fame as a prominent adult film actor known by the pseudonym "Small Hands." Signed by Cleopatra Records in 2021, his EP "Age of Excess" earned acclaim for its ominously moving lyrics and modern darkwave sound. Some of the project's notable tracks include "Closer" and "Vehement Skeleton."
His fascination with the punk genre was sparked when the band MxPx performed at a youth group show at his church when he was young. This led him to discover other punk ventures such as Rocket from the Crypt and Social Distortion . He performed in his first live show, as part of a hardcore band, when he was 15 years old.
He has also performed as a bassist for the band Fenix TX and as the frontman for Stranger's Six. His ventures with other groups have led him to performances at major events such as Warped Tour and on stages alongside Misfits , Dashboard Confessional , and other celebrated acts.
His father was a preacher throughout his childhood. He married Joanna Angel in 2010.
He received collaborative input for his EP "Age of Excess" from the founder of Dillinger Escape Plan, Ben Weinman , and Jaime Preciado , the bassist of Pierce The Veil .
