English actor known for his portrayal of Yezzan zo Qaggaz in Game of Thrones . He first began to gain fame in the late-1990s after appearing in the crime drama series Trial & Retribution. He went on to make appearances in a number of notable television series, such as Rome , The Virgin Queen , NCIS , and House M.D.
He majored in French and Spanish at the University of Nottingham .
He has worked as a night porter and a bodyguard. In 2019, he narrated four episodes of the crime documentary series Critical Incident. Throughout his acting career, he has earned over 60 credits for his appearances in various films and TV series'. He also appeared in the 1999 film Wonderland, acting alongside Val Kilmer .
He and actress Sienna Guillory have been married since 2002. They have twin daughters, Valentina and Lucia.
He worked alongside Ethan Hawke and Rose Byrne on the cast of Juliet, Naked.
