Former forward and midfielder, most notably as a member of Cercle Brugge K.S.V., where he was a two-time leading scorer.

His youth career began with WS Lauwe.

He was named to the Belgian national team but never made an appearance for them.

He grew up with his family in Lauwe, Belgium.

He and Jan Clemens were both members of the Belgian national team.
