ABOUT ERZI KONSA

Central defender for the club Aston Villa in the Premier League. He has played for England internationally at the U17, U20, and U21 levels.

He attended Harris Academy Greenwich as a youth. He joined Charlton Athletic at the youth level when he was 11. He made his professional debut with the squad in August 2016. He moved to Brentford in 2018 before moving to Aston Villa in 2019.

He scored his first goal in the Premier League in July 2020 in a 1-1 tie against Everton. He scored his first international goal in October 2018 in a 7-0 win against Angola in the 2019 European U21 Championship qualifying match.

He was born in Newham, London, England to a Congolese father and an Angolan mother. He is eligible for Portuguese citizenship.
