ABOUT ESMEE BRUGTS

Teenage soccer sensation that originally signed her first professional club contract with the Netherlands Eredivisie league squad PSV in 2020 at the age of 17. A few years later, she was given an opportunity to play for the Dutch women's national team. She primarily plays the positions of midfielder and forward.

She initially began her youth soccer career with SV Heinenoord in the year 2008. She was just five years old at the time.

She scored her first career international goal while playing against Cyprus during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers. She eventually scored her second international goal while playing against Iceland during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers.

She grew up living with her parents and her older brother in the Heinenoord, Netherlands area.

She has played for the Dutch national team during her professional career like Arjen Robben .
