They began taking guitar lessons at the age of nine.

They were signed to the record label Declared Major. Prince was one of their biggest influences growing up. They were raised in a military family, which meant a lot of moving around at a young age.

They were born in Monterey, California and later resided in Kansas.

They collaborated with Sara Skinner on the single "How Does It Feel?"
