ABOUT FELICE ARENA
Australian children's author who wrote the Specky Magee series and the Andy Roid series. His other serial works include the Farticus Maximus and Stick Dudes books.
He studied primary education at La Trobe University, but pursued an acting career instead, appearing in London West End productions of Godspell and Hair. He published his first literary work, Dolphin Boy Blue, in 1996.
He was awarded the Kids Own Australian Literature Awards Legend Award in 2013.
He was born in Kyabram, Victoria, and he lived for a time in London.
He appeared for a year on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, which starred actor Alan Dale .
