ABOUT FEMI GBAJABIAMILA

Nigerian lawyer who has garnered fame as the 13th Speaker of the House of Representatives beginning in June 2019. He previously served as House Leader for the 8th House of Representatives session representing the All Progressives Congress party.

He studied at university's all over the world, including at John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He was first elected to the Nigerian House of Representatives in 2003.

He first served as the Nigerian House of Representatives' minority leader between 2007-2011. He was elected to his second consecutive term between 2011-2015.

His wife's name is Salamatu Gbajabiamila.

Patricia Etteh has also served as Nigeria's Speaker of the House.
