ABOUT FERDINAND ALEXANDER PORSCHE
Car designer nicknamed "Butzi" who became widely known as the designer of the iconic Porsche 911 sport car, which was first revealed in 1964. He also designed the Porsche 904, and later founded the Porsche Design Studio.
He initially studied industrial design at the Ulm School of Design in Ulm, Germany. He was dismissed after a year by the school's examination board, and started getting practical design experience in 1957.
He designed the renowned Porsche Type 804 Formula 1 race car. He served as the Honorary President of the Supervisory Board for Porsche Design Studio from 2005 until his death in 2012.
His father was Ferry Porsche. His grandfather was Ferdinand Porsche .
His Porsche 911 design has often been featured in movies, including Michael Bay 's Bad Boys .
